German Chancellor Angela Merkel visits the former Nazi death camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau for the first time in her 14 years in office, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation. She tours the infamous Arbeit Macht Frei gate followed by a visit at Death Wall in the courtyard of Block 11.
