Christian pilgrims and tourists from around the world are marking the holiday of Christmas in the city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, where many believe Jesus Christ was born.
2019 has been one of the city's busiest years, with an estimated 1.9 million tourists making the trip.
Al Jazeera's Natasha Ghoneim reports from Bethlehem.
