The Church of Nativity hosted the Christmas Eve midnight mass on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019 in Bethlehem, West Bank.
Hundreds of tourists from around the world attended, as did Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh.
Acting Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Pierbattista Pizzaballa, arrived earlier in the day and conveyed a message of peace before leading the mass.
