Protesters and Hong Kong police clashed in various malls on Saturday, just days ahead of the holiday season.
Some held sit-ins to mark the five-month anniversary of an attack in a train station by an armed mob. Police were criticized at the time for not responding quickly enough for calls for help and not arresting any of the alleged suspects on scene.
Dozens of riot police swept through the mall later in the day, chasing some protesters off.
