A man diagnosed with Queensland’s first confirmed case of coronavirus travelled from Wuhan to the Gold Coast, via Melbourne and Singapore, before becoming unwell.
Dr Jeannette Young, Queensland’s Health chief announced on Thursday the 44-year-old man was a Chinese national.
Eight others who travelled with the infected man remain in isolation at the Gold Coast University hospital.
Health authorities confirmed the man travelled from Wuhan to Melbourne, via Singapore, before taking a flight from Melbourne to the Gold Coast on January 27.
