The US and China have announced an initial deal widely seen as a truce in the protracted trade war between the two countries.
The agreement rolls back some American tariffs imposed on China and boosts Beijing's purchases of American-made products and services.
It comes as House Democrats delivered articles of impeachment to the Senate, with President Donald Trump's trial expected to begin next week.
