Around 300 Australians are being evacuated from the central Chinese city of Wuhan, which is currently the epicentre of an outbreak of a novel coronavirus.
Those who have volunteered to leave Wuhan have been flown first on a Qantas plane to Western Australia's north, and from there they'll head to Christmas Island to be quarantined.
The evacuation raises questions over infection control. How can aircrew be sure they aren't picking up the coronavirus - potentially to pass on to others in Australia?
