Two little girls who died after being found in a hot car in Logan on Saturday were known to Queensland's Child Safety Department.
The Premier says the deaths of Darcey-Helen and Chloe-Ann at Waterford West will be investigated by the State's Family and Child Commissioner.
Their mother, who's been accused of their murder, is now also facing drugs charges.
